Background

Mark Robert Heston (Rob) and I were high school classmates and we were on the same athletics team. We were both long distance runners and cross-country bike racers.

We both went to the same community college and then to the same university, lived together, and earned Bachelor of Science degrees.

And along the way Rob and I got married. My maiden name was Laura Leigh Samuels and now I am Mrs. Robert Heston. Rob and I have a great marriage. It is centered on the joy of our loving sex life.

Rob is a Civil Engineer; I am a Psychology Analyst and recently I applied my skills in advertising, test-marketing, and certain high-value funding applications. As you may recall from Part 1, I was drugged and raped by Dewhite Marrmann a very wealthy man and by Dale Bottoms the president of one of Marrmann Inc’s subsidiary companies.

Rather than press criminal and civil charges for being drugged and raped, a settlement was reached in which Marrmann Inc invested $400 million for 20% interest in Rainbow, my husband Rob’s company. Subsequently, Rainbow acquired controlling interest in Structural Inc, for $280 million and formed Rainbow Structurals, Inc.

During the time that attorneys were preparing the documents needed for Marrmann Inc to complete the purchase of Rainbow stock, Dewhite Marrmann profusely apologized to Rob about the rape incident. Dewhite Marrmann offered to pay for all of our medical and counseling expenses, including both sets of parents and our siblings.

Dewhite continued; “Rob I had your patent disclosures analyzed by a team of material scientists, professional engineers, environmental impact specialists, and production cost experts. Their report highly commends your carbon fiber and graphene inventions to reinforce structures that are stronger than steel and lighter than aluminum at a fraction of the cost and environmental impact of steel structures. And my business advisors are very favorable about your IPO plan and subsequent licensing of your carbon technologies to Rainbow Structurals.”

New Developments:

Rob Heston, as CEO of Rainbow Structurals, has expanded annual sales and increased profits. Rob and I are sensitive to criticism about nepotism. Although I am a member of his Board of Directors, I work as a paid consultant on advertising and test marketing of Rob’s new carbon products that are stronger than steel, lighter than aluminum, and that can carry more electricity than copper.

We were both startled to read news articles about the murder of Dale Bottoms, the president of Double Rider Inc, which is one of Marrmann Inc’s subsidiaries. Rob said, “Laura did you ever think that Glenna Jean Gormley would become the new president of Double Rider Inc?

Because we were interviewed by police investigators, Rob and I learned that the murder of Dale Bottoms is still an unsolved case. We also learned that for about 5 years Double Rider had rented a luxury suite at the All Stars hotel about 4 miles from the Double Rider headquarters. And that Dale Bottoms had usually brought a female guest there once or twice a week. And that Mr. Bottoms was killed by a single shot through his chest while peddling a Double-Rider Bicycle near the All Stars hotel.

Laura asked, “Rob do you think the shooter might have been the Norwegian husband of the attractive wife we saw working at Double Rider - that Dale Bottoms was with as they left the All Stars hotel. So much for the immigrants that Trump wants.”

Rob laughed and replied, “Laura please don’t worry about another whodunit.”

Later, Glenna Gormley sent an email to Laura’s private email asking for our help with some Double Rider issues. Glenna invited us to have lunch and to come and see their greatly expanded manufacturing facilities.

After lunch we toured through their new Double Rider Bicycle manufacturing facilities and chatted briefly with Bill Gitwiller, Glenna’s new manufacturing manager. We went to Glenna’s office where she said, “We are selling more Double Rider Bicycles than we can manufacture in a 40-hour work week so we pay a lot of overtime for Saturday and Sunday work. And our dealerships expect us to offer new models every year for them to sell to wealthy customers.”

Glenna continued, “Mr. Marrmann said you two are the most creative people he knows and to ask you for your new and improved product suggestions and for efficiency insights to improve our production rate. He said to pay you well for helping us.”

Rob replied, “Glenna, we are both working 24/7 on our goals at Rainbow Structurals. But Laura and I will discuss possibilities. We might send you some suggestions by email and we don’t need to be paid, except possibly by receiving a discount on future Double Rider products.”

As we were driving home, Rob asked me, “Laura how about telling Glenna about your idea of using a Double Rider Bicycle indoors during bad weather as a stationary exercise machine? I can sketch a stationary dynamometer for each rider that can be made by subcontract manufacturers so it won’t add to their manufacturing difficulties. It will give their dealerships something to talk up, sell, and install for existing and new customers.”

I replied, “Rob, I would like to have a Double-Dynamometer system that one or two peddlers could use to exercise indoors during bad weather. Two peddlers can compete in fitness tests. And we could suggest peddling naked indoors for promoting the Double Rider sex themes. And for peddling naked outdoors in gated communities of likeminded patrons of good health and better sex lives. I think some of Glenna’s attractive workers might like to help make demonstration videos.”

As Rob and I fixed our salad and lentil soup for dinner, Rob said, “Laura, it was fun to discuss your thoughts about a Double-Dynamometer system for existing and new Double Rider Bicycles. If I give you a Double-Dynamometer sketch, would you like to explain your thoughts about how to market it and send it to Glenna?”

Laura said, “Dinner is ready, lets eat. I will have the email ready for Glenna 30 minutes after you give me your Double-Dynamometer sketch. And then we will have sex, every time you invent something it makes me hot and wet for you.”

Glenna sent a reply email about how much she liked the “Rob and Laura Double-Dynamometer” new product, subcontract manufacturing, and marketing concepts. Glenna went on to say Mr. Marrmann liked all of your suggestions too; but to tell you to keep focused on your day jobs.

Rob and I laughed about the exchange of emails with Glenna, and Rob said, “Laura do you think we should wait until next year to tell Glenna about a new Deliver Clean Air helmet that is an air breather filter of recyclable activated carbon that cleans the air coming in to protect the rider and that cleans the air going out as it removes cosmetic residues, CO2, SOx , NOx, germs, and halitosis to protect the neighbors and folks in Double-Rider Bicycle Meet Ups.

Rob continued, “This carbon composite helmet is stronger than steel, cleans air coming in and going out, will prevent a .357 bullet from penetration and is about half the weight of present helmets.”

Laura replied, “Rob, your Deliver Clean Air helmet with recyclable activated carbon is too good to wait a year. After dinner, I will have the email ready for Glenna 30-minutes after you give me your Deliver Clean Air helmet sketch. And then we will have sex, every time you invent something it makes me hot and wet for you.

I am so excited about another carbon product that our Rainbow team can sell; including to subcontractors that will manufacture Deliver Clean Air helmets, football helmets, and motorcycle helmets, along with police and military helmets.”

Glenna replied with glowing praises for the Double-Dynamometer and Deliver Clean Air bullet-proof helmet. She attached a video showing 4 of her attractive women workers with 4 of her male workers peddling in a Double Rider Meet Up and used AI to demonstrate Deliver Clean Air helmets and Double-Dynamometer fitness contests between men and women.

Glenna went on to say, “Rob and Laura you are amazing in every way, thank you.”

About a year later:

Rob and Laura are fixing a salad and microwave cooking two sandwiches with kale, salmon burger, homemade sauerkraut, and thin sliced onion. Rob said, “Laura, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) contract with Rainbow for $970 million to make carbon wound motors for drones is another amazing accomplishment that you have delivered.”

Laura replied, “Rob, DARPA is anxious to have your carbon wound motors commercialized that are half the weight, half the size, and able to operate at 3-times the speed of conventional copper wound motors. Your new carbon wound drone motors will enable much greater range and higher payloads.”

Rob said, “DARPA also requested another proposal for development of much larger carbon wound motors for submarines, surface ships, helicopters, locomotives, heavy trucks, earth movers, sawmills, extruder drives, and large farm equipment. We can make good use of the heavy-lifter cranes and overhead crane ways at Structurals.”

Laura replied, “Let’s eat. I am anxious to have sex, every time we start commercializing something you invented, it makes me hot and wet for you. I am so excited about more of your carbon products that our Rainbow Structurals teams can manufacture and sell.”
